2 Tips For Creating Your Very First eBook

2 Tips For Creating Your Very First eBook

Expert Author Randall A Magwood
Do you have the desire to create an eBook and sell it online? Well, a lot of people do, and it's something that they go all out in developing. eBooks are so easy to create, and are just as easy to sell, so if you want to enter into this field, you're making a wise decision. It can give you the lifestyle and luxury that you're looking for.
When people purchase eBooks, typically they're looking for a solution to a problem that they have, or they have a goal or want that they want fulfill. No matter the case, you can provide eBooks that can tackle both issues. And it doesn't have to stop at 1 eBook... you can make a collection of eBooks that are about a wide variety of topics.
For example, I have multiple eBooks that I sell. I used to be a really good high school basketball player, so I created eBooks on various subjects related to basketball. I've written eBooks about: improving general basketball skills, 3-point shooting, ball handling, defense, individual moves, and how to get noticed by top coaches around the country. I have the credibility to write these kind of eBooks, and they do well for me.
But if you've never created an eBook yourself, you will want to start with something that is very simple. In today's lesson, I want to go over some of the ways that you can get started with creating your first eBook, and the structure of creating one. Here's the first step for creating your very first eBook:
1) Don't make it long
I'm sure you probably think you're the next Stephen King or the next Danielle Steel, but tackle the glamour and fame after you've solved your cash flow problems. So instead of writing a 100 to 300 page long eBook, stick to something shorter - but still fill of high quality content.
Shoot for 30 to 40 pages long. You can write this up within a weekend. Then once you get prolific at it, you'll be able to make 30 to 40 page eBooks within 1 day. This is level that I am currently at. So take it easy at first with your first eBook, and do something simple. Here's another tip:
2) Create the structure of your eBook with an outline
The outline of your eBook should be the chapters of your eBook. This is incredibly easy to do. If you're going to write a 40 page eBook, create 10 chapters, and make them all 4 pages long. Like I said, make sure that you fill it up with HIGH QUALITY content. I've bought eBooks for $7 that was better than the $300 courses that I have bought in the past. And you will hear other people say the same thing also.
So start with the chapters as your outline. You can use the chapter of your eBooks as the bullet points on the sales page. Your "bullet points" are just small tidbits of information that describe what someone will learn inside of your eBook. After you've done this, you're ready to go with the promotion of your eBook. Go to a site called "pdfonline" and have it converted into a.PDF file - that is viewable with Adobe Acrobat Reader.
If you want to create your own eBook, you should start with the tips listed here in this lesson. Be sure to use them now.
Good luck with your eBook creation efforts.
