Amazon

I have chosen to write a blogpost about Amazon because Amazon is such a force in online retaling and will be an even bigger force in online retailing going forward.

  Amazon is a multibillion dollar electronic commerce company with headquarters in Seattle, Washington, United States. and it is the world's largest online retailer. From humble beginnings as  an online bookstore, Amazon soon grew exponentialy and diversified into selling all kinds products such as DVDs, VHSs, CDs, video and MP3 downloads/streaming, software, video games, electronics, apparel, furniture, food, toys, and jewelry.

Now there are even talk of Amazon expanding into groceries.

 The company also started producing it's own consumer electronic products with is flagship product  the Amazon Kindle e-book reader and the Kindle Firetablet computer—and is a major provider of cloud computing services.

  Amazon has separate retail websites for United States, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Germany, India, Italy, Spain, Brazil, Japan,China and Austria. with international shipping to certain other countries for some of its products.

Amazon can be a major source of income for the affiliate marketer and it's affiliate program, Amaon Associates is a source of income for many online marketers and an invaluable tool to monetise web content such as blogs or web pages.
